Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and trenching
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read blueprints and construction documents for task guidance
- Load/unload materials and equipment at job sites
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Flexible availability (6 AM - 6 PM shifts)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Steel-toe boots required (provided if needed)
