Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites through excavation, debris removal, and material staging
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling
- Implement strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to execute construction plans
- Perform concrete work including pouring, finishing, and form installation
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Experience with power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
