Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling and tool management
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Operate basic machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper training
- Complete daily site inspections and report hazards
- Adapt to changing project demands in fast-paced environments
- Collaborate with crew members to meet weekend deadlines
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6AM-4PM)
- Basic hand tool proficiency
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Pre-employment drug screening required
- Previous construction experience preferred but not mandatory
