Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and ensuring safety compliance
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, tool management, and layout tasks
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, saws)
- Follow blueprints and instructions to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA standards
- Report hazards and issues to site supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols
- Flexible schedule availability including early mornings and weekends
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
