Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload materials and operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Mix concrete, lay foundations, and erect scaffolding structures
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, electricians) with specialized tasks
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work environments
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Complete daily progress reports and time sheets
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency (hammers, saws, drills)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
