Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and directing equipment
- Read blueprints and follow instructions from site supervisors
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Mix concrete, lay foundations, and install building materials
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and maintain clean work areas
- Assist skilled tradesmen with specialized tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction experience or trade school certification
- Valid Washington driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
