Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout, framing, and concrete work
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for precise task execution
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Complete daily progress reports and time documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor experience preferred
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, saws, levels, etc.)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within 50-mile radius
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/drug screen
- Strong work ethic and punctuality are mandatory
