Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material setup and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized work zones
- Read blueprints and interpret basic construction instructions
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, dollies, and forklifts (certification provided)
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (training provided if needed)
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
