Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Transport materials via carts, wheelbarrows, or light vehicles
- Complete daily progress reports for supervisors
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment background check
- Team player with strong communication skills
