Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment operation on active construction sites
- Assist skilled tradesmen with framing, concrete pouring, and demolition tasks
- Maintain site cleanliness, organize materials, and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Read blueprints and follow instructions from site managers and foremen
- Complete daily timecards and safety documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory tracking
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality for daily 6 AM start times
