Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Read blueprints and construction plans to execute tasks accurately
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to complete OSHA 10-hour safety training (provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily attendance
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently
- Prefer 6+ months construction experience or trade school background
