Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and directing equipment
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions to execute tasks accurately
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Mix concrete, pour foundations, and assist carpenters/masons with material handling
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Assist in loading/unloading materials and managing inventory at job sites
- Collaborate with crew leads to meet daily production targets and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for tardiness
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Experience with concrete work, demolition, or framing preferred
