Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and verifying materials
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and basic tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Load/unload trucks and manage inventory of construction supplies
- Perform light demolition and site cleanup duties
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (training provided)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
