Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws) safely
- Read and interpret blueprints for task execution
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload materials and transport supplies to job sites
- Perform site inspections and report hazards immediately
- Collaborate with crew members to meet daily project milestones
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months construction experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexible availability for early morning/weekend shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
