Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including cleanup, material handling, and equipment setup
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand tools
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, etc.) with project execution
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to site supervisors
- Adapt to changing project demands and weather conditions
Qualifications
- No prior experience required - we provide on-the-job training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of construction site safety standards
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn
