Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, trash, and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Assist Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled laborers as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers (certification preferred).
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Measurement & Marking: Assist in measuring and marking areas for cutting and assembly under supervision.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, general labor, or landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Driver's License: Valid Class C Driver's License is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Safety Conscious: Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
