Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain construction tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground according to blueprints.
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various on-site tasks.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations at all times.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating material needs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not always required for entry-level.
