Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Load, unload, and prepare construction materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks to ensure project efficiency.
- Site Maintenance: Clean and secure the job site daily, removing debris and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Operate heavy machinery and tools safely under supervision; measure and cut materials as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of work hours, materials used, and daily progress.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and willingness to follow instructions.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with construction tools is a plus, but training is provided.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not mandatory for motivated candidates.
