Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems including leaks, clogs, and fixture installations
- Perform emergency plumbing services during weekends and off-hours
- Inspect pipes, drains, and fixtures to identify potential issues
- Install water heaters, garbage disposals, and other plumbing equipment
- Maintain accurate service records and inventory of materials
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid District of Columbia plumbing license required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 8 AM - 6 PM)
- Background check and drug screening required
