Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials
- Load/unload heavy equipment, tools, and supplies safely using proper techniques
- Operate machinery like forklifts, jackhammers, and power tools under supervision
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and task completion
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read blueprints and interpret project specifications for accurate task execution
- Complete daily time logs and equipment maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred (training provided)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Atlanta and Texas
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow verbal/written instructions
