Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Maintenance: Assist in clearing debris, digging trenches, and preparing construction sites for various projects.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport heavy construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor techniques.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision to aid skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.).
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, organized, and debris-free work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- General Assistance: Perform various manual tasks including mixing concrete, carrying supplies, and assisting with demolition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform strenuous manual labor for extended shifts, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Work Ethic: A strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and a commitment to showing up on time and ready to work.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to understand instructions from foremen and team members.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but not required; we train the motivated.
- Tools: Own basic hand tools (tape measure, hammer) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to and from job sites.
