Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, excavation, and material handling using hand/power tools
- Follow construction blueprints and safety protocols for concrete, framing, and finishing tasks
- Operate machinery like forklifts, saws, and drills under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to meet OSHA standards
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) for project completion
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
- Support demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
