Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings during night shifts
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to execute precise electrical configurations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with project managers to meet nighttime deadlines and quality standards
- Document work progress and maintain detailed service records
- Respond to emergency electrical calls during assigned night shifts
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Maryland Journeyman Electrician license required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina for climbing ladders, lifting 50+ lbs, and confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and occasional overtime
