Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, dollies, and forklifts.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various tasks on-site.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to site cleanliness standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols strictly.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations as needed for projects.
- Signal operators of heavy machinery to assist in materials placement.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Capability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to learn and work well within a team environment.
