Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with demolition, excavation, and site preparation
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate hand/power tools including drills, saws, and jackhammers
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and overnight shifts
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the DC metro area
