Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials on job sites efficiently.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and operations.
- Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment.
- Equipment: Operate basic construction equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and power tools.
- Physical Labor: Perform manual labor such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Documentation: Complete daily logs and report any safety concerns or equipment issues to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Lifting: Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy materials safely and repeatedly.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
