Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites through material handling, equipment setup, and debris removal
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material preparation and task support
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness standards
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (training provided)
- Perform concrete work, framing, and finish carpentry support
- Document daily progress and material usage for project reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid O-10 construction card or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Dallas County
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must possess own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, utility knife)
- Commitment to weekly availability (Monday-Friday, 6AM-4PM)
