Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Clean and prepare job sites, ensuring a safe and organized working environment for the crew.
- Assist Tradesmen: Support skilled craftsmen (carpenters, electricians, etc.) by performing necessary tasks to keep projects on schedule.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe workplace.
- Demolition & Cleanup: Assist in demolition tasks and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior construction experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
