Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
- Operate and maintain basic construction tools and equipment safely.
- Load and unload building materials from trucks and organize job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, roofers, etc.) with various on-site tasks.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints or drawings when necessary.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods outdoors.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team setting.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
