Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled trades with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and supervisor instructions
- Maintain organized work areas and report equipment malfunctions
- Participate in team-based construction activities on residential/commercial sites
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
