Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, excavating, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools, including forklifts, jackhammers, and compressors, under supervision.
- Assistance to Trades: Provide general labor support to carpenters, electricians, and masons as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring and cutting materials to ensure precise project specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing on concrete.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Safety Awareness: Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
