Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the site.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools under supervision to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by strictly following all safety protocols.
- General Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various manual tasks as directed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure work adheres to project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing on concrete.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new construction techniques and safety procedures.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for our project schedules.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Driver's License: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Safety Mindset: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards is a plus; however, full training will be provided.
