Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks on job sites, including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and loading/unloading trucks.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment (e.g., saws, drills, levels) safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with specific project duties.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including site cleanup and debris removal.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and job site instructions.
- Perform other manual labor duties as assigned by the Site Foreman or Project Manager.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA 10 or 30 preferred but not required).
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; however, a high school diploma is not mandatory for qualified applicants.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work well in a team setting.
