Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools under supervision, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Support Crew: Provide direct assistance to carpenters, masons, and general contractors as needed.
- Quality Control: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and reports as required by site supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and attendance is essential for this role.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation to commute to the job site.
- Work Ethic: A strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude towards team-based construction work.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus, but we are happy to train motivated candidates with no experience.
