Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Plumbers: Learn to perform basic plumbing tasks under the supervision of experienced journeyman plumbers.
- Tool Maintenance: Properly clean, organize, and maintain plumbing tools and equipment.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by gathering materials, clearing debris, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with homeowners and clients in the Detroit and Ohio areas.
- Learning Pipework: Study and practice cutting, threading, and joining pipes.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local building codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome candidates with zero prior plumbing experience.
- High School Diploma: or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in tight spaces or outdoors.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read measurements and blueprints (training provided).
- Problem Solving: A proactive attitude towards troubleshooting basic issues.
