Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Construct/repair structures using concrete, wood, steel, and composite materials
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Assist skilled tradesmen with layout measurements and installation processes
- Transport materials safely using forklifts or manual handling techniques
- Complete daily progress reports and equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience preferred
- Valid O-10 card or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across El Paso County
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to complete within 30 days)
- Team-oriented mindset with strong verbal communication skills
