Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and masons) with daily site operations and tasks.
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, hauling dirt, and demolition duties.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and safety plans.
- Ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn and maintained throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant trade school experience is a plus.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; we train the right candidates.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
