Responsibilities
- Excavate, prepare, and clean job sites following blueprints and supervisor instructions
- Load/unload construction materials, tools, and equipment using proper techniques
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Install, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Mix concrete, pour foundations, and perform finish work with precision
- Perform daily equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Virginia Beach area
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Availability to work 6 PM - 6 AM shifts with consistent attendance
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
