Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools, including jackhammers, saws, and forklifts (as trained).
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople, such as electricians and carpenters, with various on-site tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required for eager learners.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
