Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians, etc.) as needed
- Ensure construction sites are clean and safe by removing debris and following safety protocols
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment
- Operate machinery and equipment under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, saws, etc.)
- Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or labor work preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license is a plus
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
