Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing and preparing the area.
- Equipment Support: Operate and maintain basic construction equipment and tools safely.
- Assembly: Assist in assembling and dismantling temporary structures, such as scaffolding and barricades.
- Waste Management: Remove debris and waste from the site in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Help ensure work meets quality standards and blueprints under supervision.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a construction laborer or in a similar trade is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long hours, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs).
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- Safety Focus: Strong commitment to following safety protocols and wearing required PPE.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal instructions from supervisors effectively.
