Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties, including loading, unloading, and staging materials at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as carpentry, framing, and concrete finishing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and organizing tools.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools (e.g., forklifts, skid steers, drills) following strict safety protocols.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints and project specifications.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and site-specific regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus but training is provided for enthusiastic candidates.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Mandatory requirement: Steel-toed boots.
