Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and grading areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Demolition: Perform light demolition and renovation tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience: No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime.
- Communication: Basic English skills required to follow safety instructions and communicate with the team.
