Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear, level, and prepare construction sites by removing debris and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate and assist with heavy machinery and power tools as directed.
- Assisting Trades: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily tasks and assembly.
- Quality Control: Help maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure materials are used correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Clean-up: Maintain a clean and organized job site at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs).
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of basic construction safety practices is a plus.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
