Responsibilities
- Site Support: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials to job sites efficiently and safely.
- Equipment Assistance: Operate basic construction equipment and machinery under the supervision of a foreman.
- General Labor: Perform manual tasks including digging, lifting, cleaning, and preparing areas for construction.
- Collaboration: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily operational requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols at all times.
- Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended shifts, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Driver's License: Valid Driverβs License and a clean driving record are required.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Safety Awareness: Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures and the ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
