Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under the supervision of skilled trades.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Site Clean-up: Maintain a clean and organized workspace at the end of each shift.
- Assistance: Support electricians, carpenters, and other tradespeople as needed to complete projects on time.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing on concrete.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided for motivated candidates.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record is essential.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
