Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and prepare construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and hazards.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily tasks and project needs.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Measurement: Assist with measuring, cutting, and arranging building materials according to blueprints and specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver's License is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety gear is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance is essential.
