Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform demolition, excavation, and debris removal tasks
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read basic blueprints and construction plans
- Assist in setting up equipment and scaffolding
- Complete daily progress reports and time sheets
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Flexible schedule (early mornings/weekends)
- Pass background/drug screening
- Willingness to travel to job sites
