Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Clean work areas, remove debris, and prepare surfaces for construction activities.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools safely and correctly under supervision.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Demolition: Perform light demolition and removal of old structures or fixtures.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required for site transportation.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Experience: Prior construction or landscaping experience is highly valued but not mandatory for the right attitude.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
