Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at the job site efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and ensuring the area is ready for building.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision to support the crew's workflow.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations at all times.
- Assisting Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by carrying materials and performing general labor tasks as needed.
- Physical Tasks: Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required (we train willing candidates).
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to show up on time and stay focused for the duration of the shift.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand tools (saws, drills, hammers) is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including potential overtime and weekends.
